It Snows...
One thing that is so cool about living in the desert is, when it rains here in the winter/spring we are sure to get sow all over the mountains. The snow always breathtakingly beautiful.

Two places that I love off the beaten path are The Estate Sale Company and Resale Therapy in Palm Springs.  The Estate Sale is known to have the best treasures.  You defiantly have to pick through things but it is worth the hunt.  I got this painting there years ago and it has always been one of my favorite thing.

Resale Therapy, owned by Caroldean Ross  "features labels from Louis Vuitton, Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, Gucci, Jimmy Choo, St. John, Escada, Prada, and Etro, just to name a few. They also feature moderate collections such as Donna Karan, Liz Claiborn, and Ralph Lauren, with only the best items making their way onto their well stocked selling floor." If you travel down a little more east on Highway 111 into Cathedral City and make your way unto Perez Road (Located between Cathedral Canyon Drive and East Palm Canyon) you will also find some great unique shopping. The Pastry Swan (Best cakes in the valley,  not only are they beautiful but they are delicious too.  This one was for Lily's 1st Birthday. We had a Lily Pad theme!) 

Make sure you go to Resale Row.  Where there are lots of unique stores and art galleries.  One of my favorites is called Leftovers.  It was even featured in Domino Mag (when it was still around;()
